How to use

Use in the morning.
Apply 20 minutes before sun exposure evenly to face and neck on clean, dry skin. Apply again after swimming or toweling or exercising. Reapply every 2 hours.
Warning: Avoid direct contact with eyes. Prolonged exposure to the sun should be avoided. Suitable protective clothing, hat and eyewear should be worn at all times in the sun.

Why protect?

Even when it is cloudy outside, even if you work indoors, you should be wearing sunscreen daily. It may sound extreme, but UVA rays account for up to 95% of the UV radiation reaching the earth’s surface, and can penetrate clouds and glass. These UVA rays play a major part in photodamage and skin ageing. UVB rays are the chief cause of sun damage which can also lead to premature skin ageing.

For this reason, it is really important to choose a sunscreen that is ‘broad spectrum’. Broad Spectrum sunscreens are designed to protect against both UVB and UVA rays. A conventional sunscreen that has an SPF rating only and does not mention the term “Broad Spectrum” may block very little UVA radiation relative to the nominal SPF.

The Ultra Protective Daily Mineral Defence SPF50+ range is the essential last step to your skincare regimen. We also recommend to limit your time in the sun, especially from 10.00a.m. to 2.00p.m. wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses, and reapply the product after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, at least every 2 hours.
